The acquisition, along with other recent acquisitions by Recurly, strengthens their vision to deliver an end-to-end solution for subscription growth, combining billing, payments, analytics, real-time engagement, and commerce in one integrated platform.
Redfast, now rebranded as Recurly Engage, enables subscription brands to drive retention through personalized, in-product subscriber experiences. By integrating Redfast’s technology, Recurly empowers its clients to transition from reactive churn prevention to proactive subscriber engagement—delivering relevant, timely prompts that keep users engaged and reduce voluntary churn.
SPZ Legal’s representation of Redfast in this strategic acquisition involved comprehensive legal support across negotiation of the LOI, deal structuring, negotiating and finalizing definitive documents, supporting due diligence, and closing. SPZ’s network of specialists, in particular tax, advised the sellers on the transaction. The legal team included Gea Kang, Sam Taylor, Tami Gore, and Hash Zahed.
