It’s our pleasure to introduce our newest law clerk for the fall semester, Sanam Analouei! She joins our members, Becky and Sam, in our Denver office!
Sanam is currently a 3L at the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder, Colorado (CU). Her legal interests include corporate and transactional law, as well as government contracts. Additionally, as an alumna of the Leeds School of Business, Sanam is poised to complete her Entrepreneurial Law Certificate at CU, solidifying her interests in business law.
During her time at CU, Sanam has distinguished herself through her advocacy work at the Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law & Policy Clinic, where she contributed to an amicus brief advocating for more inclusive standards for individuals with print disabilities in standard-setting organizations’ reading rooms under the precepts of fair use. In addition, she authored a significant paper analyzing the potential barriers the D/HH or DB community may encounter during the transition from 911 to NG911, emphasizing their potential struggles in accessing essential emergency services. Along with serving as a student-attorney, Sanam is a member of the Colorado Technology Law Journal (CTLJ) and holds student leadership positions in the Doman Society for International Law and the Barrister’s Council Transactional Team.
Before embarking on her law school journey, she graduated from the College of William and Mary, majoring in political science, and studied several languages including Arabic, Farsi, Tajik, and Russian.
Outside her professional commitments, Sanam indulges in her love for music, frequently attending various concerts and playing her Persian classical instruments, in addition to cherishing her weekly visits to local farmer’s markets.
SPZ Legal is excited to have Sanam join us, and we can’t wait to see what she’ll accomplish and learn during her time here!
